Pamlico Sea Base is the East Carolina Council’s premier high-adventure aquatic camp and year-round watersports destination. Situated on the scenic Pamlico River in eastern North Carolina, Sea Base offers Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts, and other outdoor enthusiasts unforgettable experiences on the water — from sailing and paddling to high-adventure expeditions and weekend programs.
At Sea Base, participants combine outdoor skill building with adventure and teamwork. Whether exploring coastal waterways by kayak, embarking on the expeditions, navigating inner-banks waterways, or participating in SCUBA certification and merit badge programs, Scouts gain confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper appreciation for the environment.
