ScoutReach

What is ScoutReach?

ScoutReach is the East Carolina Council’s outreach initiative dedicated to expanding access to Scouting for youth facing financial, geographic, or social barriers across eastern North Carolina. Through meaningful community partnerships, ScoutReach provides young people with opportunities to grow through leadership development, mentorship, outdoor adventure, and character-building experiences.

Through ScoutReach, youth gain access to:

  • Leadership and teamwork development
  • Character-building programs rooted in Scouting values
  • Hands-on learning experiences and outdoor activities
  • Positive mentorship and life skills education
  • Opportunities regardless of financial circumstances

By partnering with schools, community centers, and local organizations, ScoutReach helps ensure every child has the chance to build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong skills through the Scouting program.
