Summer Camp at Camp Boddie

Summer Camp at Camp Boddie is the East Carolina Council’s premier week-long resident camp experience — where Scouts come together to grow, learn, and have fun in the great outdoors. Set along the beautiful Pamlico River within the East Carolina Scout Reservation, this summer program offers structured activities, merit badge opportunities, and traditional Scouting adventures designed for Scouts BSA youth of all ages.



Each summer, Scouts have the chance to explore the natural world, develop outdoor skills, earn merit badges, build friendships, and challenge themselves through hands-on learning. From aquatics and shooting sports to nature programs and Scoutcraft, the Camp Boddie Summer Camp experience blends personal growth with excitement in a safe and supportive environment — all guided by trained staff committed to the Scouting mission.

In addition to being an unforgettable experience for youth, summer camp also provides meaningful opportunities for older Scouts and adults to serve as camp staff — building leadership skills, earning valuable certifications, and gaining real-world work experience while helping others make the most of their summer adventure.
