Scouts BSA (Ages 10–18)

Scouts BSA is Scouting America’s program for youth ages 11–17, offering adventure-based experiences that build character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness through outdoor activities and service.

Youth participate in a Scout-led troop, where members plan activities, lead meetings, and work together on challenges with guidance from trained adult leaders. This youth-led approach helps Scouts develop confidence, teamwork, and real-world leadership skills

What Scouts BSA Do

Scouts take part in engaging adventures and growth opportunities, including:

  • Camping, hiking, and outdoor exploration
  • Community service and leadership projects
  • Summer camp and high-adventure programs
  • Skill development and merit badges
  • Rank advancement through Eagle Scout

These experiences help youth discover new interests, serve others, and prepare for life’s challenges while living the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
